Welcome to Spurrier Equine Health Services!
Whether you are a lifelong equestrian or have never set foot in a stable, our doors are open to you. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to connect with these magnificent animals in a meaningful way. Our purpose is to help individuals address anxiety, depression, PTSD, social anxiety, and difficulties at work through the peace and tranquility of bonding one-on-one with a horse.
Horses, as empaths, are natural guides that supplement and complement the therapeutic professional-to-client setting. Each session is specifically geared towards a client's needs, expectations, hopes, fears, and desires. Ashley, as a certified expert, will guide each session either one-on-one or with a group. Clients are not expected to ride the animals or be experts in horse behavior. Each client will be counseled in a safe, natural environment conducive to healing and self-paced actualization.
A 30-minute exploratory session is offered for first-time clients. Should you wish to proceed with sessions or therapy, each standard session will be approximately 1 hour in length at $100. Typical therapy ranges from 4 weeks to 6 months, depending on the client. Group sessions are offered as well. Accepted ages are 12 and up.
Flexible Session Locations: For those who do not own a horse, sessions are hosted directly at our Peabody homestead, where you can connect with our own horses. If you do own horses, Ashley can travel directly to your facility or property to work with them on-site.

We are based out of our 3-acre homestead in Peabody, Kansas. We serve the entire South Central Kansas region, including Wichita, Newton, El Dorado, Hutchinson, and surrounding communities.
No previous equine experience or equipment ownership is required! Whether you are an experienced equestrian or visiting a stable for the first time, Ashley, our certified specialist, is here to guide you every step to ensure a safe, comfortable connection with the animals.
